This painting is titled "Baby boy in blue". I finished it on Mar. 05, 2017. The subject's name is Joseph Lopez, and the painting is 20"x 24" and is oil on canvas. I haven't done very many portraits, but I was pleased with how this piece came out, and it has inspired me to keep an open mind about doing more portraiture. For those of you that paint I'm sure you'd agree that it presents unique challenges. I feel that those challenges can help you to become a better painter in all areas of your work, so my next painting will probably be in that same vein.
